Vision (Updated) – RESERVED
Vision is a young female smallish lurcher who survived alone on the streets for months, using wits and resilience that remain within her. Her experience means that she can be shy and wary until she trusts you but underneath she is a sweet, clever and friendly girl.
She would benefit from a steady, well –balanced dog to give her confidence but one who also enjoys rough play as she can be full- on at playtime, when she feels secure.
She is neutered and microchipped.
We are looking for a home that is not just sympathetic but also empathetic and insightful so her likely behaviour in different situations is correctly interpreted and she is kept safe while she evolves into a pet.
Please contact us if you have understanding, calm and a suitable dog to help her blossom.
Update from Vision’s Foster Family:
Vision has come on leaps and bounds with her foster family. She’s a sweet girl, not a bit of trouble! Clean and quiet, she is happy in a crate and loves the car. Watching her turn from a shy dog into a family pet is so rewarding, In the long term the bonuses of watching her development is second to none.
Vision is gentle around food, which she loves, so is very responsive to training using treats. Vision will need to live with another dog to show her the ropes and someone who is patient, to continue her guidance into a confident pet. Despite this, Vizwiz – her nickname, is a playful dog and loves nothing better than than throwing a cuddly toy about. Regardless of her shyness, Vision has enjoyed weekends away with her foster family and has settled comfortably in corners of quiet cafes.
