2026

Hounds we have homed in 2026

If you’ve homed an Erin Hound we would love to see how they are getting on. Please email us email@erinhounds.co.uk

Choice Homed

Now called Tilly, Choice only has to choose which cushion to sleep on rather than having to make choices that could be the difference between life and death. We are so happy for her and her new family.

Valise Homed

Valise (front left) cuddles up to Kevin while Josh looks on. All warm, safe and loved greyhounds which is wonderful.

Sadie Homed

Sadie is loving her new life with lots of toys and lovely lurcher, Monty, for companionship. She especially loves her cosy new bed.

‘Who Dat ?’ no longer needs to answer that question as he has a forever identity now as ‘Ernie’ , the very happy and very loved pet.

Sammi (now Pixie) in the middle, has teamed up with other sighthounds scamps with whom she is having fantastic fun.

Murphy Moose (was Maloney) waited a long time for his days in the sun and so is thoroughly appreciating the beauty of the countryside and has also taken up agility.

Eeyore Homed

Eeyore (now Mottley) is now enjoying the best of times after the worst of times. A whole life of happiness and love lies in front of him.

T Rex Homed

T Rex (now Bryn) had big ambitions and so kept his ears as well as his eyes out for a forever home. It paid off and now he is having a lovely time as a pet.

Tinsel (now Dolly) has slipped into her new life as easily as slipping into her new knitted coat. Have many happy times playing with yourne w friend Belle the whippet and enjoy the warmth and love that all dogs deserve.

Everything is coming up roses for Daisy who has moved in with another Erin Hounds’ greyhound, Poppy (was Glee)- a friendship that is blooming lovely.

Beautiful Boyne is well cared for, well loved and well….is another success that keeps us all going through the endless stream of ups and downs in rescue work.

Shenanigan (now Lady) wasted no time getting out and about exploring the local countryside- what a breath of fresh air after a life spent staring at kennel walls.

Thackeray Earwicket has bounced into his very own Wonderland. The magic starts with Erin Hounds so please spread the word to help more hounds find comfort and safety.

Lennie ( was Captain) is exhausted after helping put up the Christmas decorations but is delighted with the best window display ever…his new baby sister, Dora, adopted from Erin hounds!
