Lovely Lyra RESERVED
Lyra (born January 2016) is a female greyhound who is a waggy, happy girl who loves life. Her fosterer says she craves cuddles and enjoys playing with her toys. She is clean and quiet in the house.
Being quite lively, she would be better in a home without very young children but would enjoy a busy environment as she likes to be involved. A home familiar with sighthounds and which enjoys exercise or have a reasonably- sized garden would suit her nicely.
She cannot live with cats. She is neutered and microchipped.

Update from Lyra’s fosterer:
She loves to go for walks and walks well on the lead. She gets very excited when she sees a squirrel and jumps around if it runs up a tree. She’s been very quick to pick up new routines. She settles really well at night. She has two beds and usually sleeps in the living room and doesn’t try to go upstairs. She’s quiet and clean at night. She lets us know if she needs to go out to do her business. She’s extremely affectionate and gets very excited if anyone new comes to the house because she loves everyone! She still jumps up occasionally but not as much as she used to, and she understands when she’s told ‘no’. She enjoys her food, she’s not a fussy eater and will eat whatever I put out for her.
I think she’d enjoy another playful dog’s company. She craves attention and stimulation and wants cuddles and tries to get on my lap! She has a few toys and enjoys playing with them but enjoys it even more if someone plays with her. She also loves to stand up at the living room window and watch people going past, she’s quite nosey! She’s got such a lovely personality so I’ve become very attached to her and I’ll be very sad to see her go.
