Lauper is a smallish female lurcher aged about 18months who knows nothing but kennel life having arrived as a youngster. She therefore needs another confident but tolerant dog to act as a role model but also a playmate, as she is still puppyish.

She could live with older, calm children and would like a home where someone will commit to helping her learn to be a pet and get used to the outside world.

Update from her fosterer:

Lovely little Lauper is gradually making the transition from having to fend for herself to being a relaxed pet. She can be shy of new people and places so someone happy to stick to a routine while she gains her confidence would be helpful to her. She loves her walks and could be an only dog if someone is around much of the time as she is only young and if she has playdates etc with other young dogs
