Introducing Ricky . . .
Ricky is a saluki cross puppy who is looking for a home. He is good on the lead for his age, sweet and friendly, He will need a home where someone is around most of the time, preferably with another well adjusted dog to show him the ropes or a commitment to puppy training and socialisation.
A knowledge of the saluki temperament would be an advantage. With guidance and careful introductions, we feel he could live with cats. He is neutered and microchipped. If you would like to adopt him, please contact us.
Update from Ricky’s fosterer:
Ricky is very social with other dogs and would need to live with other dogs for company. He likes to play with other dogs but respects their feedback if he starts getting over enthusiastic! He sleeps through the night but as with most pups, he is not keen on being left so will need someone who is around most of the time and can gradually show him that is ok to be left for periods. He walks well on the lead and is curious about the outside world. He is very sweet and is gradually learning that humans can give nice ear tickles and treats. He is quite springy and jumps up when outside to look in through the windows so will need a secure garden and an alert owner.
