New photos and update from Neeson’s fosterer:
Neeson is settling in so well and has brought us so much pleasure. At first he was anxious of a few things – men, sudden movements and getting in the car. After 24 hours he was fine with everything.
Neeson love his treats, he’s not a greedy dog and good around food. He’s a bit too enthusiastic when we eat so we’ve been strict about not feeding him from our plates.
He regularly empties the toybox and has a good play then sleeps for the next few hours.
Each night we put him in the crate and he’s been as good as gold, we don’t hear a peep out of him. We’ve put him in throughout the day as well and he’s been fine. When I’m in the kitchen, Neeson will go in his crate of his own free will, he can see me from there.
He can be strong on the lead but is improving quickly. We’ve met cyclists, traffic, trains he took everything in his stride. When he meets people, he thinks they’re there to give him a tickle. He doesn’t like other dogs in his face, but is good with dogs he knows. Being young he’d love a good play. he’s clever and very trainable.
Everything Neeson does, he does with a wagging tail, such a happy boy.
