Tebogo (Updated) – RESERVED
Tebogo ( born September 2020) is rather more ‘walk and sleep’ than ‘track and field’ unlike his athletic namesake. His gorgeous looks go without saying but he is also a kind lad who is quiet at night and walks well on the lead. It won’t take him long to adapt to living in a home and with a bit of guidance, he will settle into being a wonderful pet.
He could live with respectful older children but not with cats or small furries.
He is neutered and microchipped.

Update from his fosters:
Tebogo has just been away in our caravan for a few days and he is a lovely, gentle, easy going, very calm boy who will quickly bond.
He likes routine and is lovely to walk, although he can be a little keen to get going on the first walk of the day. He stays very close to your side when walking and stands still whilst picking up after he has toileted. He seems to prefer a regular short walk but also enjoys the occasional longer walk.
If stopping to chat, he stands uncomplainingly and is pleased to politely meet people but is not overly interested, preferring his people.
He is however always on alert and is particularly movement driven. He is generally not interested in other dogs and will ignore them, not reacting even when being barked at whilst walking past. He will lean in for comfort if unsure.
He will settle on his own but prefers company and likes to see what you’re doing and ‘help’ with any day to day tasks such as inspecting the washing machine to make sure it’s empty! He’s now getting used to household appliances that beep. He likes a fuss and is happy being handled, which is good as the back of our car is high and he needs to be lifted in. He worries when children cry or scream when playing (such as on TV or in playgrounds), so he should live only with older calm children. He will need a garden / secure field for some off lead time as he does enjoy the occasional garden zoomie. He would make a great first greyhound but is most definitely not cat friendly.
