Quote (known as Rosie in her foster home) (born May 2021) is an intelligent girl who is happy and playful when she feels comfortable. She loves playing with her toys and adores the company of both humans and other dogs of all types. She is clean and quiet in the house and sleeps well all night. Once settled she can be left for a couple of hours with no issues. She is a sweet and loving girl and would love older children but may be too bouncy for small children. She cannot live with cats or small furries.

Rosie is a noise-sensitive hound with a particular fear of traffic. We are looking for a home where she can relax away from sight of a road (eg a large back garden), access to quiet, traffic-free walking areas and owners willing to help her get used to the outside world one step at a time with guidance from us. She is petite for a greyhound but can be strong on the lead so owners will need to be reasonably fit. She travels well in a car.

Rosie has made huge progress in her foster home and is a delight to have around, so we hope that special family will be out there for her.

She is neutered and microchipped.

Update from Quote’s fosterer (new photographs included):

Quote, known as Rosie in her foster home, is an incredibly sweet girl who is playful, cheeky and affectionate. She likes to collect shoes and slippers but is not destructive. She sleeps well at night and is clean in the house. She adores the company of other dogs and would love a pal for zoomies, but could live happily as an only dog as long as she had plenty of human company and occasional playdates. Rosie’s only foible is a fear of traffic so she would appreciate a good-sized, enclosed garden where she can relax without having to see cars and an owner prepared to be patient while she overcomes her fears. This girl is an absolute gem and somebody will be very lucky to adopt her.
